Following withdrawal of consent and/or objection, personal data is moved to a suppression (“blocking”) list, meaning the data is no longer used for marketing. The data is then retained only for legal purposes (e.g., burden of proof and assertion/defence of claims) and deleted after two (2) years, unless overriding reasons apply or renewed lawful permission exists.

Online participation is possible either by granting consent to receive advertising or without granting it. Participants who do not wish to grant consent to receive advertising may also participate via letter or postcard (see section 3.2).
Where consent is provided, the Participant agrees to receive advertising for the benefit of the Organiser and the prize draw sponsors. Consent is provided in exchange for entry into the prize draw and may include, in particular, email and telephone advertising. Conducting the prize draw is supported by sponsors.
The sole organiser and therefore responsible party for the prize draw is Cosinova Ltd. The brand owner or manufacturer of any products shown is neither the organiser nor a sponsor of this prize draw and has no business relationship with the organiser.
2.1 Participation in UK prize draws is open to UK residents aged 18 or over who are located in the United Kingdom at the time of participation. Employees, authorised representatives and agents of Cosinova, sponsors and affiliated companies, as well as their respective family and household members, are not eligible to participate. This also applies to individuals who are excluded and/or blocked from participation pursuant to section 6 of these terms and conditions.
2.2 Participation is only permitted and valid if the Participant provides the Participant’s own first name and surname. Participation under aliases or other names is not permitted.
3.1 Online participation takes place via the relevant online registration. During registration, consent to receive advertising for the benefit of Cosinova and the prize draw sponsors may be granted, as shown in the specific consent text. Following online registration, a confirmation email is sent to the email address provided. A confirmation link is included in that email. Participation is not complete unless and until the Participant clicks the confirmation link, thereby completing the double opt-in process.
3.2 Participation without granting consent to receive advertising is also possible by sending a letter or postcard to:

At least one of the terms “sweepstake”, “competition” or “prize draw” must be stated on or in the postcard or letter, together with the Participant’s address and the corresponding URL under which the relevant prize draw is/was held. To become a valid candidate, the Participant must state the full name, address, email address and phone number for notification in the event of winning.
3.3 Participation is only possible until the stated entry deadline. Each entry must be completed by the deadline. In the case of participation by postcard/letter, participation is considered timely if sent by the entry deadline and received by Cosinova within three working days after the entry deadline.
3.4 Participation is not dependent on the purchase of goods, use of paid services, and/or payment of connection charges and/or user fees to Cosinova, sponsors, or other companies involved. Completing a survey or taking part in displayed offers has no influence on the chances of winning.
3.5 If, in the case of online registration, marketing consent has been granted and is later withdrawn, the chances of winning remain unchanged. Withdrawal of consent does not affect eligibility of participation.
4.1 Cosinova runs prize draws with various prizes. A winner will be drawn from all eligible Participants who have entered the competition and meet the eligibility criteria outlined in these Terms and Conditions. The winner will be drawn within four weeks after the competition ends. The selected winner will receive the prize that was offered at the time of participation.
4.2 If the prize is a cash prize, the winner will receive a cheque for the awarded amount, sent by post, and it can be cashed at the winner’s bank. .
4.3 If the prize is a voucher, it may consist of multiple vouchers, the total value of which matches the voucher value depicted in the competition details. .
5.1 Winners may be notified by mail, phone, and/or email. .
5.2 Where the prizes referred to in section 4.1 are physical items, they will be sent to the winner by the organiser at the organiser’s expense. .

Claims to prizes are not transferable. The winner bears sole responsibility for paying any taxes that may apply.
8.1 Cosinova may, at its reasonable discretion, disqualify a Participant and exclude the Participant from the prize draw where there are grounds to suspect manipulation or attempted manipulation of the entry process or the operation of the prize draw, a breach of these Terms and Conditions, or any conduct intended to improperly influence the outcome or administration of the prize draw. This includes, without limitation, interference with the website or software used, or threatening, harassing, or otherwise abusive behaviour towards employees of Cosinova, sponsors, or other participants.
8.2 Cosinova may also exclude Participants from participation at Cosinova’s discretion in advance, in particular where there is a risk of a violation of the rules of conduct.
Cosinova reserves the right to discontinue or terminate the prize draw at any time, without prior notice, for objective reasons. This applies in particular if the prize draw cannot be conducted in an orderly fashion, for example in the event of viruses, software and/or hardware errors, and/or other technical and/or legal reasons affecting administration, security, integrity and/or proper conduct. In such cases, Cosinova also has the right to modify the prize draw at its discretion.
The Participant may, at any time and without stating reasons, object to the processing of personal data for advertising purposes and/or withdraw any consent previously given for such purposes. Upon receipt, the Organiser will cease processing personal data for advertising purposes without undue delay and will, where relevant, notify the affected sponsors of the objection and/or withdrawal without undue delay.

If one or more provisions of these Terms are or become legally void, this does not impair the validity of the other provisions. The invalid provision will be replaced as quickly as possible with another provision most closely approximating the economic intent and content of the invalid provision.
Where the website includes links to websites or resources operated by third parties, these links are provided for convenience and informational purposes only. Cosinova does not control such third-party content and makes no warranties regarding it. Cosinova disclaims liability for any loss or damage arising from access to or use of any third-party websites or resources.
The compulsory legislation of the country of residence usually applies. In addition, the law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall be granted.
